POCAHONTAS, AR (KAIT) – Lawrence County deputies helped Pocahontas police arrest a man on theft charges Wednesday.

The Pocahontas Police Department executed a search warrant at an apartment and found several stolen items from Walmart stores in both Pocahontas and Walnut Ridge.

Lawrence County deputies were contacted to help the Pocahontas Police Department with the investigation and were able to match Carey Creelman to the person seen in the surveillance video at the Walmart in Walnut Ridge.

Creelman was arrested and interviewed about the stolen items. Deputies said he admitted to stealing the television and had a bond set at $1,000.

He is set to appear in court on May 14.
