Early voting for May 3 elections set for April 19-26

CALCASIEU PARISH, LA (KPLC) -

Early voting for the May 3 general election will be held April 19-26 (excluding Sundays) from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the following locations in Calcasieu Parish:

Registrar of Voters Office

Room 7, Parish Courthouse, 1000 Ryan St., Lake Charles

West Calcasieu Business Center

500 A N. Huntington St., Sulphur

Moss Bluff Library

261 Parish Road, Moss Bluff


Ballot items include the following:

Sulphur Mayor and City Councliman for District 4.

Calcasieu Parish School Board Parishwide Propositions Sales Tax Renewal and Maintenance Millage Renewal.

City of Lake Charles Proposition No. 1 Sales Tax Renewal 1 Percent.

City of Lake Charles Proposition No. 2 Sales Tax Renewal 1/4 Percent.

Recreation District No. 1 of Ward 3 Propositions 1 and 2.

Waterworks District No. 8 of Wards 3 and 8 Proposition.

Gravity Drainage District No. 9 Ward 2 Proposition.

 

Voters will be required to present a photo ID.
