ASU Basketball inks Anthony Livingston

JONESBORO, Ark. ( – Arkansas State head men's basketball coach John Brady announced Wednesday that San Jacinto (Texas) College transfer Anthony Livingston has signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the Red Wolves.

Livingston, a 6-9, 230-pound forward, will have three seasons of eligibility left at A-State after recently completing his freshman season at San Jacinto (Pasadena, Texas), where he was named first team all-conference and all-region XIV while leading the Ravens to a 23-8 record.

"We are extremely pleased to have signed a player the caliber of Anthony to join our program for the next three seasons," said Brady.  "With his talent level and three years to play, we feel he will continue to keep our team as one of the best in the Sun Belt Conference.  Anthony can play inside and out and possesses a nice skill level as well.  He adds another dimension to an already deep and talented recruiting class."

The Washington, D.C., native averaged a double-double last season at San Jacinto, recording 17 points and 10 rebounds per game to lead the team in both statistical categories.  He also ranked 24th in the NJCAA in rebounding.
