WEST MEMPHIS, AR -

(WMC-TV) – Two West Memphis teenagers were arrested in relation to a home invasion and the beating of an 81-year-old woman, according to West Memphis Police Chief Donald Oakes.

Terrio Pope, 19, and 17-year-old Ramon Huntley are charged with aggravated residential burglary, first-degree battery, and robbery. WMC Action News 5 is reporting their names because they will be charged as adults.

The woman had to be rushed to the Regional Medical Center after suffering a broken nose, broken ribs, and bleeding on her brain. She is in serious condition.

West Memphis police say the 81-year-old woman was attacked shortly after 9 p.m. Monday night by two masked men at her home in the 1900 block of McAuley Drive.

Pope and Huntley are being held in the Crittenden County Detention Center on $350,000 bonds.
