PARAGOULD, AR  (KAIT) – A Greene County doctor was ordered to give up his passport and given a $500,000 bond during his first appearance in court Thursday. Dr. Paul Becton, Junior, 68, of Paragould was also given a no contact order and not allowed to travel outside the Second Judicial District without approval from the court. Right now, Becton is being held in the Greene County Jail.

Second Judicial Prosecutor Scott Ellington argued that Becton was a flight risk.

Region 8 News also learned that the patient who came forward with the allegations filed a civil lawsuit in Greene County Circuit Court. She claimed Becton took nude photographs of her during a medical examination.
