Driver hospitalized after I-10 accident

HARRISON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) -

An accident on I-10 sent one woman to the hospital Friday morning. But surprisingly, her injuries did not appear to be serious.

The driver lost control of her SUV on eastbound I-10, right before the Long Beach exit. Highway Patrol spokesman Johnny Poulos said the SUV spun out of control, flipped, then hit the guard rail on the bridge near the Wolf River.

The driver was taken to Memorial Hospital.
