TRUMANN--Whether you were grabbing lunch on the run, or enjoying the company of family and friends, BBQ was on the menu for the Lion's Club 28th annual fundraiser.
The Lion's Club raises money for the hearing and visually impaired, and these volunteers say they can't think of a better way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
"We have bought several thousand pairs of glasses, several hearing aids, and several corrective eye surgeries,"said Lion's Club member LB Baker.
Baker says the goal is to lend a helping hand to those who are not able to help themselves.
The Trumann Lion's Club has been servicing the community since 1930, and volunteers say it's a gem that sparkles in the community.
For some, this barbecue has become part of a tradition.
