JONESBORO, AR - Governor Huckabee has scheduled more appearances around the state  tomorrow for what his office says will be an announcement about covenant marriages.  Huckabee is to make two Region 8 appearances on Tuesday, including an 8:30 a.m. "fly-in" announcement at the Jonesboro Municipal Airport.  Following that, he is to make a similar appearance at the airport in West Memphis.  The governor's office isn't providing details of what the announcement concerns.

However, today in Little Rock Huckabee announced that he plans to re-new his vows with his wife, Janet, and that they will be bonded in a convenant marriage.  The governor said he wants a thousand other couples to join him and his wife in a Valentine's Day ceremony planned for Alltel Arena in North Little Rock.

Covenant marriages add requirements for pre-marriage counseling and require a two-year waiting period before a couple can divorce.
