Medical board issues emergency suspension of Paragould doctor's license

JONESBORO, AR  (KAIT) – The Arkansas State Medical Board issued an emergency order of suspension against Dr. Paul Becton, Junior, of Paragould.

According to Kevin O'Dwyer, attorney for the board, the order was given after criminal allegations were made against Becton in early April.

Becton faces five counts of video voyeurism. Arkansas State Police said nude photographs were found on Becton's cell phone after a patient of his reported suspicious activity to Paragould Police. Read about the case here.

Becton also faces a civil lawsuit.

Dwyer said the board will review the case in its June meeting.
