LSU's game against Sam Houston State to air on SEC Network

BIRMINGHAM, AL (SEC) -

The SEC Network will air a game featuring every football team in the Southeastern Conference within the first four weeks of the 2014 college football season.

LSU will play Sam Houston State on Saturday, Sept. 6 on the SEC Network with a 6:30 p.m. kickoff in Tiger Stadium.

The first 16 games, released today by the SEC and ESPN, include a home game from all 14 SEC football stadiums.  

Television selections for the remaining games in the opening weeks of the season will be announced at a later date.

    Jeremy Johnson passed for 243 yards and two touchdowns in the first half and Nick Marshall returned from suspension with a 19-yard scoring run to lift No. 6 Auburn to a 45-21 opening victory over Arkansas on Saturday.
    The Auburn offense didn't slow down a bit, even with Nick Marshall a spectator for half the game.
