8 year old's wish granted through FBLA efforts

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT)-  A special presentation granted an 8 year old his wish Thursday at the Future Business Leaders of America Conference at the Nettleton Performing Arts Center.

8 year old Hayden Butler of Marked Tree was granted a shopping spree at the mall through the Make a Wish Foundation. Hayden has been receiving treatment for ALL Leukemia.

Make a Wish volunteer, Melissa Roberts, said, "you don't realize what these kids go through. I'm not sure how long Hayden went through his treatment, but when you're going to the doctor every day and getting treatment every day he doesn't have time to just be a little kid."

Thursday's wish was made possible through the hard work of the District 2 FBLA members.

After his party, Hayden took a limo to the mall for his shopping spree.
