Man accused of stealing silver, home items arrested

IMBODEN, AR (KAIT) – An Imboden man was arrested following an investigation into a home burglary in Lawrence County.

According to Lawrence County Sheriff Jody Dotson, Christopher Orrick, 31, was arrested on May 8.

Dotson stated officers were investigating the burglary of a home in Imboden where items had been taken including "several items of silver."

While investigating, deputies found neighbors had seen Orrick in the area. Officers then spoke to Orrick who confessed to the burglary, according to Dotson. The items were recovered and returned to their owner.

Orrick was arrested on charges of residential burglary, theft of property and criminal trespass. His bond was set at $5,000 and he was given a court date of June 25.

    According to Randolph County Sheriff Gary Tribble, a person was being held Sunday in the Randolph County jail after being taken into custody by Arkansas State Police in connection with the deaths of two people.
