MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Police are confirming the victim in Tuesday's shooting to be 25-year-old Brandon McClain of Montgomery.

Montgomery Police say an arrest has been made in the shooting but the name of the suspect is not being released at this time.

The shooting occurred near Lower Wetumpka road and Forbes Drive. The adult male victim was transported to a local hospital.

No other information is being released at this time as the investigation continues.
