Short supply of voters in Greene County early voting period

GREENE COUNTY, AR (KAIT)-  While hundreds of people have voted early in other Region 8 counties, that is not the case in Greene County.

There wasn't much happening Tuesday morning at the Greene County Courthouse in Paragould. The machines were ready to take in votes, but the actual voters seem to be in short supply. Early voting will continue until the primaries on May 20th.

Greene County Clerk, Linda Heritage, said, "so far, the Greene County voting has been fairly slow for a May primary. We think maybe it will pick up as time goes on, then you've still got election day. Which a lot of people may just be waiting for election day."
