ROAD CLOSURES: Houston County

COVINGTON CO., AL (WSFA) -

Authorities with the Houston County Road and Bridge Department are issuing an updated list of road closures as a result of rain and flooding. The roads include the following:

Bruner Pond Road, between Pleasant Grove Rd and County Road 75

Cobb Road, between Highway 605 and Skipper Road

County Road 8, between Pilcher Hart Road and S. Springhill Road

Indigo Pond Road, between Highway 53 and Florida State Line

Lanier Road, between County Road 4 and Indigo Pond Road

Long Road, between Williams Chapel Road and Friendship Church Road

Nobles Road, between Cottonwood Highway and County Road 33 S

Silcox Road, between Battles Road and Danford Road

    Since 2001 the state of Missouri has had a hotline to help report any possible threat. The Missouri School Violence Hotline is a way for both parents and students to let law enforcement know about things going wrong.
