JULIA'S FORECAST: A short lived cool snap

Posted: Updated:
JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Time to give the AC a little break! Cooler air has arrived, but will only be with us for a short time. For today, we could challenge record cool high temperatures in the mid 60s to near 70.

Fortunately, we're at least done with the rain. Today will generally be sunny with a light breeze. The smallest wind will only make it feel cooler!

A few sprinkles are possible north of I-20 on Friday morning, but overall the day appears to be dry and a bit warmer in the mid 70s. We'll keep out the sunshine for the next week, and that will help to moderate our high temperatures- we'll be in the mid 80s by the weekend's finish.
