Police find drugs inside doll, freezer during search warrant

JONESBORO, AR  (KAIT) – Jonesboro Police found a set of digital scales, methamphetamine, marijuana and crack cocaine during a search warrant at an apartment complex, according to an incident report released Friday morning.

According to the report, Anthony Thomas, 40, of Jonesboro was charged with possession of methamphetamine with purpose to deliver greater than 2 grams but less than 10 grams, possession of crack cocaine with the purpose to deliver greater than 2 grams but less than 10 grams and other drug charges. He was also found in violation of his parole. Thomas was given no bond pending a probable cause hearing.

According to Officer Anthony Zaffarano, he went inside the apartment to find Thomas and what was believed to be crack cocaine. The cocaine was sitting on a counter.

While searching the apartment, officers also found a doll on top of a dryer. The report stated the doll contained a plastic bag with suspected marijuana. Officers also found what was believed to be drugs in the freezer.
