CRAIGHEAD COUNTY, AR  (KAIT) – A Lake City man was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended license after he was pulled over for failing to use a turn signal, according to an incident report filed at the Craighead County Sheriff's Office.

Joseph Allen Farrell, 44, of Lake City was pulled over on County Road 905 near Highway 18 early Wednesday morning. According to Deputy Brandon Womack, his K-9 Renko sniffed around Farrell's vehicle and "alerted" for narcotics. Farrell told Womack that he had several thousand dollars in the car, along with a few knives. Farrell cooperated with the investigation.

Police found several small plastic baggies, digital scales, a glass pipe, 1.2 grams of suspected methamphetamine and nearly $25,000 in cash.
