POCAHONTAS, AR  (KAIT) – A third man has been arrested in connection to a series of burglaries in the Engleberg area northeast of Pocahontas, according to Randolph County Sheriff Gary Tribble.

Tribble said Jackie Cagle, 39, of Maynard was charged with possession of paraphernalia to manufacture, theft of property, breaking or entering and possession of a controlled substance Tuesday in Randolph County Circuit Court. According to the police report, a witness called police and told officers that Cagle had just broken into a home on Buxton Road.

Tribble and three other officers went to the residence, where they found Cagle naked. Officers conducted a search of the home and found a pair of shorts with a glass pipe lying on top of them.

Cagle admitted that the shorts were his. Officers also found methamphetamine near a television set and marijuana was found in a cigarette box. When asked why he was naked in someone else's home, Cagle told officers he needed to take a shower.

During the investigation into several thefts of four-wheelers in the Engleberg area, Timothy Ray, 50, said Cagle tried to sell him a four-wheeler that appeared to have been hot-wired in mid May. Ray and Ricky Turner, 42, were arrested over the Memorial Day weekend on several felony charges.
