IMBODEN, AR (KAIT) – A Powhatan man was arrested after authorities said he violated a court order by threatening someone with a large switch blade knife.
According to Lawrence County Sheriff Jody Dotson, Michael Wilson, 52, was arrested Thursday after an Imboden resident called 911 to report the man was threatening to kill her.
When officers arrived, they found Wilson hiding in a bedroom. Dotson said deputies found the knife on Wilson and took him to jail after taking a statement from the resident.
An investigation showed the resident had a no-contact order against Wilson and that he was arrested on domestic abuse charges previously.
Wilson was charged with possession of a prohibited weapon, residential burglary, terroristic threatening and violation of a court order in this incident.
