Poplar Bluff police arrest robbery suspect

POPLAR BLUFF, MO (KAIT) - Poplar Bluff police arrested a robbery suspect over the weekend.

Jeremy Fineout was arrested on Saturday after a foot pursuit, according to Capt. David Sutton. Police saw Fineout walking along Business Highway 60 in Poplar Bluff.

On Thursday, police were called to the 700th block of Kinzer Street in reference to a robbery. The victim told police that he was assaulted by a house guest. The suspect fled the scene with the victim's wallet and debit card.

The stolen debit card was later used at an ATM.

Fineout was charged with first degree robbery, armed criminal action, felonious restraint, fraudulent use of a credit device and resisting arrest. He also had outstanding warrants in Butler and Stoddard County.
