POCAHONTAS, AR (KAIT) – A Pocahontas man is behind bars after police catch him with his pants around his ankles.

On Friday, police received a call about a man inside a pickup truck at the Walmart parking lot masturbating.

According to Sheriff Cecil Tackett, he approached the vehicle and he saw Lawrence Goodin, 38, with his shorts down to his ankles, penis in his hand "pleasuring himself" openly with the windows down and his dog in the backseat.

When asked what he was doing, Goodin did not respond.  The sheriff then asked Goodin where his pants were. Goodin stated that he did not have any; his friend had gone inside the store to buy him another pair because his other pants had "blown out."

Goodin pulled up his shorts and step out of the vehicle. Police found a small black bag that contained needles and a small corner bag containing a white crystal substance in his back pocket.

Goodin was taken to the Randolph County jail and was charged with public sexual indecency, possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.
