GREENE CO, AR (KAIT) – One man escaped injury when he tried to make a turn off of a state highway onto a county road, but the turn was too sharp.
According to Greene County Sheriff Dan Langston, a driver for Roberson Logging tried to turn off of Highway 358 onto County Road 736 shortly after 2:00 Wednesday afternoon.
In the turn, the driver realized he would not be able to miss a mailbox. As the driver backed his truck, the rear right tires of the trailer went into a ditch, causing the trailer to twist and lose its load. The cab of the truck did not tip.
No one was hurt in the accident.
Langston said it would take about an hour to clear the debris from the area.
