Widespread storm damage reported in Trumann

TRUMANN, AR  (KAIT) – One business was destroyed in Trumann after high winds blew down a building, according to Trumann Police Chief Chad Henson. The city sustained widespread damage.

In a video sent to Region 8 News from Henson, you can see a large trailer was destroyed when winds blew it 100 yards from Kings Transportation, damaging several cars in the Country Mart parking lot.

Power has been knocked out to 75% of the city. Two semi-trucks were blown over at both exits off of Highway 63.

At least 15 city streets are blocked by large trees.
