Police identify woman killed in Black Rock storm

BLACK ROCK, AR  (KAIT) – The name of the woman who was killed in Thursday's severe weather was released by police Friday night.

According to Black Rock Police Chief Daniel Hill, Charlene Clark, 81, of Black Rock was killed when a large tree fell on top of her van at the school.

Hill said Clark was on her way to a surprise retirement party when the tree fell and crushed the van.

Clark worked at the school for eight years as a custodian, and friends said she loved her children.
