BLYTHEVILLE, AR - The University of Tennessee Cancer Institute will close four satellite offices by December 15, including a clinic in Blytheville.  The Cancer Institute in Memphis cited lower reimbursements from Medicaid and Medicare and the departure of six doctors in explaining its decision for the cutbacks.

The office in Blytheville will close December 1.

Patients wanting to continue treatment with the institute will have to transfer to one of the remaining offices.
