NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR - More Arkansans are heading for Iraq to help in the battle against insurgents.

About 80 Arkansas National Guard members embarked by bus Tuesday from the Guard headquarters at Camp Robinson in North Little Rock.  They went initially to Fort Hood, Texas, from which they are expected to leave for Iraq about December 15.

More than 2,800 members of the Arkansas Guard's 39th Infantry Brigade are already serving in Iraq, though some who have reached their maximum active-duty limit have been sent home.

Many of those now heading for Iraq are recruits who have just finished their training.
