3 local children hurt in deadly crash

CALHOUN COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – Three Jonesboro children were hospitalized following a deadly car crash.

The crash happened at 1:45 p.m. Monday on Highway 167 South in Calhoun County, according to Arkansas State Police.

Freda Moore, 66, of Minden, La., was southbound when, for "unknown reasons" her 2004 GMC crossed the center line.

Trooper Greg Rowland reported Moore overcorrected and lost control of her vehicle, which left the roadway and rolled several times.

Moore was killed in the crash.

Zoey Moore, 13; Logan Moore, 5; and Sage Moore, 10, of Jonesboro were taken to the Medical Center of South Arkansas in El Dorado with undisclosed injuries.
