Atlanta ranks high for wrinkles, skin damage risk

A newly released study says residents in Metro Atlanta are at a higher risk for fine lines, wrinkles and other skin damage. And a big reason for it is our daily commute.

The study, which was sponsored by RoC Skincare and Sperling's Best Places looked at cities across the nation. They took into account lifestyle, environment, commute time and stress levels in determining the rankings.

The Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta region came in at No. 4. The top ranking came from high scores in commute time, number of hours in our work week and high summer temperatures.

Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario, CA was No. 1, not only because of the California sunshine, but also because of their commute time and high stress due to an 11 percent unemployment rate.

Here are the top five:

1 - Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario, CA

2 - New York, NY

3 - Philadelphia, PA

4 - Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta, GA

5 - Baltimore-Towson, MD
