LITTLE ROCK, AR - Former Federal Emergency Management Agency director James Lee Witt has opened a Little Rock office for a consulting firm that specializes in crisis management.

James Lee Witt Associates has some notable Arkansas names on board...former Transportation Secretary Rodney Slater of Mariana and retired Army General Wesley Clark of Little Rock.  Witt is a former Yell County Judge.

The firm, established in 2001, is based in Washington, D.C.

Clark and Slater will serve as vice chairmen and part-time senior advisers.  Clark said the business could evolve to the point where Little Rock becomes its headquarters.
