Senator Clinton Headlines Gathering of Arkansas First Ladies

LITTLE ROCK, AR - Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton joined five other Arkansas first ladies today at a luncheon to benefit the state Governor's Mansion.

The senator from New York told the crowd of 2,100 at the Statehouse Convention Center that Arkansas was at the heart of of the Clintons' political success.

Hillary Clinton says she hopes her husband's presidential library will serve as a prominent "thank you" to the state for its support of her family.

The $100 per plate luncheon will help fund renovations to the governor's mansion.  The women also toured the mansion this afternoon.

    According to Blytheville Police Captain Scott Adams, an 18-year-old man was arrested Monday on suspicion of two counts of capital murder in connection with a Nov. 2016 shooting.
