BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -
Authorities have arrested a third suspect in connection with the fatal shooting of a 41-year-old man in a St. Stephen trailer park last week.

Berkeley County deputies say 22-year-old Brandon Antwane Wigfall was captured in downtown Charleston Thursday morning by U.S. Marshals. Authorities also arrested 19-year-old Michael Anthony Segar on Wednesday and charged him with misprision of a felony.

Segar was given a personal recognizance bond of $40,000. Segar was the second person arrested in the June 11 St. Stephen shooting that took the life of John David Morant.

St. Stephen Police Chief John Waters says Jamal Harris-Nelson of St. Stephen has already been arrested in connection to the deadly shooting. Harris-Nelson was charged with murder.

According to authorities, cops were called out to a home in the 1000 block of Graham Street around 11 a.m. in reference to a shooting. At the home, officers found Morant, who was suffering from a gunshot wound to the back.

Waters says Morant did not cooperate with authorities, and died while on the way to the hospital.

The incident is being investigated by St. Stephen police, the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office, and the Coroner's Office.
