AUSTIN, TX (KLTV) - Willie Nelson says that several buildings on his ranch were heavily damaged by tornado-force winds last week.

Nelson built a small town on his ranch back in the 1980s to use as the location for a film adaptation of his album, Red Headed Stranger, calling it Luck, Texas. After the film's production ended, he kept the buildings, which include a post office and a small church, and has used them for events through the years.

Unfortunately, last week's storms damaged the church, knocking out several windows, according to Nelson's official Facebook page. It was the least-damaged of all the buildings, however, as you can see in the pictures he shared on his page.

A post by Nelson's Facebook page said, "Our beautiful Luck wasn't so Lucky recently. Last week's tornado-force winds ripped several buildings apart, including the bank, the post office, and left World Headquarters holding on by a splinter. We are happy to report no one was hurt and the church only had a few windows blown out. Some towns got it a lot worse, so we aren't complaining. Luck is a tough town. It can be rebuilt."

Most recently, Luck was used  as a venue for his annual Heartbreaker Banquet during SXSW festival, which took place in March.  According to website Austin360.com, the show was held at his ranch, away from the "SXSW festival hoards" and featured up-and-coming acts spanning the roots, country and rock genres. Even the 50-seat church was used as a music venue, the site reports.

Luck was also featured in Nelson's 2007 music video, "You Don't Think I'm Funny Anymore," featuring Luke and Owen Wilson, Jessica Simpson, Woody Harrelson, and Nelson, himself.
