Two trailer thefts reported to Jonesboro Police

JONESBORO, AR  (KAIT) – Two men reported that their trailers were stolen inside Jonesboro city limits, according to two police reports filed with the Jonesboro Police Department.

Early Friday morning, Wayne Perkins, 48, of Jonesboro reported that his trailer had been stolen from a shop building at the end of Culberhouse Road. Perkins told officers that he had not given anyone permission to use the trailer. The trailer, valued at $2,000, was a homemade trailer used to haul race cars. No one has been arrested in the case.

The second trailer theft was reported by Phillip Yearta, 40, of Jonesboro. He told officers that a truck pulled onto 211 Harry Tuesday morning, backed up and hooked the trailer up to his truck before driving off. Yearta valued the trailer at $1,200. Yearta turned over a flash drive with surveillance video of someone stealing the trailer. No one has been arrested in this case.
