TALLMADGE, OH (WOIO) -

Edward Paolucci, 82, has been flying kites for 15 years. In fact, he considers himself a professional. He has more than 50 in his colorful collection.

However, a volunteer at the Summit County Fairgrounds said the elderly man was not wearing any clothing while flying his kite in the field last week.

According to a police report, Paolucci was naked last Wednesday while doing his favorite hobby. Tallmadge Police also said he did this while a youth horseback riding camp was practicing.

Paolucci said he had his swim trunks on, and they were slightly down because he had to use the restroom, and there were none around.

"I will relieve myself in the car in a container," Paolucci said. "I was opening up the door and pulling my trunks up-okay, the car door was open, and he was coming down and he saw that, and he said I was naked flying a kite."

Paolucci got a ticket and was told not to return. But he says he came back the next day to talk to the man who called the cops, to explain. He got in trouble again, this time for trespassing.

"I'm going to court to fight this," he says.

Paolucci is expected to be in court Thursday morning.

In April, Williams Baptist cross country runner Alex Van Herpen competed in the prestigious Boston Marathon. An incredible feat. Learning about his path to get there, it stopped me in my tracks. Five years ago Alex was bound to a wheelchair. in January of 2011, he was diagnosed with strep throat, the flu and mono all within a two week period. For five months Alex was bound to a wheel chair. One day he just got up and walked. Medical experts had no explanation for any of it.  ...
