Mentor businesses underage alcohol bust

MENTOR, OH (WOIO) -

Mentor police busted five stores selling alcohol to minors.

Officers attempted underage buys at 24 stores.  

 

The following stores sold alcohol to a person under 21, Speedway at 7340 Lakeshore Boulevard, Convenient at 4680 Corduroy Road, the 7/11 at 5711 Heisley Road, Speedway at 7745 Reynolds Road, Sheetz at 7777 Reynolds Road and the Convenient, 7488 Mentor Avenue.

Employees at the stores were issued a ticket for selling alcohol to minors and will have to appear in court.

Mentor police appreciate the 18 other stores for strictly enforcing no sales of alcohol to minors.
