The Alliance for Women in Media (AWM) Foundation and Ford Motor Company Fund are pleased to announce that Tori DeGiosio, Kings College, Class of 2015, and Jami Hirsch, University of Missouri St. Louis, Class of 2016, are the scholarship recipients of the Emerging Voices program. The students were formally announced as winners during the Gracie Awards Luncheon on June 11 in New York.

The Alliance for Women in Media (AWM) Foundation and Ford Motor Company Fund are pleased to announce that Tori DeGiosio, Kings College, Class of 2015, and Jami Hirsch, University of Missouri St. Louis, Class of 2016, are the scholarship recipients of the Emerging Voices program. The students were formally announced as winners during the Gracie Awards Luncheon on June 11 in New York.

The Emerging Voices Scholarship program consists of two $2,500 scholarships, made payable directly to each students educational institute in the name of Ford Motor Company Fund. The winning students will write original content that will be featured on AWMs website during the upcoming months.

At Ford, we believe education is the cornerstone for a brighter future and vitally important as we build our next generation of leaders, said Jim Vella, president, Ford Motor Company Fund and Community Services. We are honored to support Tori and Jami and wish them the best of luck in their future careers.

Several initiatives of the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation are made possible through our longstanding and successful relationship with Ford Motor Company Fund, said Kay Olin, AWMF Chair. Tori and Jami are outstanding students, and we are proud to work with Ford to both contribute to their studies and share their outstanding work thanks to the Emerging Voices scholarship.

Each winning student will produce three to four separate pieces of content for AWM to be shared on AWMs website and blog including one about the students experience attending the Gracie Awards Luncheon. Content will be announced and showcased on http://www.allwomeninmedia.org as well as AWMs social media outlets.
