WALNUT RIDGE, AR (KAIT) – Lawrence County Sheriff Jody Dotson says a couple of suspects put to the test failed.

On Thursday, June 26, deputies arrested Clarence Bowker, 47, and Anna Doyle, 42, on charges of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dotson told Region 8 News the arrests came after his office received information about illegal drug activity at the couple’s home in Black Rock.

Deputies went to the home and spoke with the pair.

Because both suspects are still under suspended imposition of sentence (SIS), deputies searched the home and found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, Dotson said.

Deputies arrested Bowker and Doyle and took them to the Lawrence County Jail to await a bond hearing.

At the jail both suspects were given a drug test.

Dotson said Bowker and Doyle both failed for methamphetamine.
