JONESBORO, AR  (KAIT) – A Jonesboro woman charged with trying to break free didn’t get too far when she was pulled from the ceiling into a shower room at the Craighead County Jail, according to an incident report filed on Wednesday.

According to Detective Gary Etter, Jessica L. Jackson, 23, of Jonesboro, was in a shower unit of the jail when an officer opened the door. The officer saw Jackson trying to get into the ceiling from the shower. After the officer pulled Jackson from the ceiling, she told the officer she wanted to get out to see her children.

Jackson caused approximately $250 in damage to the ceiling, according to the report.

Jackson was arrested June 10, 2014 on felony charges for possession of methamphetamine.

Jackson is being charged with first degree criminal mischief, according to the incident report.
