CARAWAY, AR  (KAIT) – A local police officer was fired for conduct unbecoming of an officer after an altercation with another man at the Lake City Courthouse, according to Caraway Police Chief Pete Hicks.

Hicks told Region 8 News that Kevin Tucker was fired Friday, June 27th after a week long investigation. According to Hicks, Tucker got into a fight with another man on Friday, June 20th outside the courthouse.

Police said Tucker confronted the man and got into a “shoving match” during the argument. Hicks said two Craighead County Sheriff’s deputies were able to break up the altercation.

Hicks said no charges have been filed against either man in the case.
