HARRISON COUNTY, MO (CNN) - Severe storms hammered parts of the plains and the Midwest Monday with high winds, heavy rains and even a tornado.

A tornado touched down in Harrison County, MO - shortly before 8 p.m.

The National Weather service says it only lasted about five minutes.

No major damage was reported.
