Pedestrian hit by train in Memphis

(WMC) - According to Memphis Police Department, a pedestrian was hit by a train Friday night.

MPD and Memphis Fire Department responded to the call at Southern Avenue and South Highland Street around 9:30 p.m.

As of Saturday morning, the pedestrian remained in critical condition at Regional One Medical Center.

This is an ongoing investigation.

    The storm that hit Keiser Saturday was an EF-1 tornado with estimated winds of 90 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
