BLACK ROCK, AR (KAIT) – Bad driving landed a Region 8 man in jail on drug charges.

Waylon Sewell, 20, of Osceola is charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Lawrence County Sheriff Jody Dotson said a Lawrence County sheriff’s deputy “noticed a white SUV driving all over the road near Black Rock” on Saturday.

While explaining to Sewell why he had stopped him, Dotson said the officer saw a glass pipe in the vehicle.

After receiving Sewell’s consent to search the SUV, “the deputy recovered the glass pipe along with some meth,” Dotson said.

The deputy arrested Sewell and took him to the Lawrence County Jail to await a bond hearing.
