Paragould man killed in fall at grain bin

BLACK OAK, AR (AP) - Authorities say a Paragould man was killed after he fell into an empty grain bin near Black Oak.

Police say 54-year-old Garth Johns was working with two other men to repair storm damage to the grain bin Thursday. According to The Jonesboro Sun ( ), Johns had been working inside the bin to loosen nuts when he fell to the bottom.

A police report says emergency responders discovered Johns unresponsive on the floor of the grain bin. The report says responders were unable to resuscitate him.
