TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Toledo Police now believe a shooting in north Toledo over the weekend was most likely gang-related, but they say the four victims may not have been the intended targets.

Four teens were shot on Streicher early Saturday morning while they were at a bonfire party. Police believe the teens were most likely in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Three of the victims are high school students. Marquis Robinson was shot in the stomach and is listed in critical condition. Keontae Johnson, a running back for the St. Francis Knights, was shot in the chest and stomach. He underwent surgery on Monday and is also listed in critical condition.

On Monday, Johnson's classmates arranged a blood drive to show him support.

"He's a hyper kid, fun to be around, athletic, always smiling and gets us going," said teammate Chartyise Fagan. "He's a nice guy. Everyone's praying for him. We're hoping he'll get better."

James Arnold, 18, and 17-year-old Rondale Ensley are in better condition. Arnold was shot in the finger. Ensley, a senior football player at Rogers, was hit in the thigh. Both are out of the hospital.

The victims say they were at the bonfire on Streicher when a red truck drove up and started firing shots into the crowd. They say it looked like there were four people in the truck.

"When they pulled up, I thought they threw firecrackers out of the window," said Ensley.

Everyone started running. Arnold says he and Johnson stuck together.

"Him and I ran the same way, and he fell," Arnold explained. "I thought he tripped. I turned around and he was laying there."

Arnold says he didn't see when the truck pulled up, but this wasn't supposed to happen.

"We all good kids, all four of us. Two football players," he said. "Marquise is a good person, I'm a good person. I don't see a reason why anyone would do that."

Police have not made any arrests in this case, but they believe people at the scene knew who the shooters were and have not come forward.
