BG Police investigating forged prescription

BOWLING GREEN, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Police in Bowling Green are investigating an incident wherea man turned in a fake prescription to get Adderall.

The Kroger pharmacy noticed the fake script Wednesdaymorning and notified police.

They believe the suspect has been submitting fraudulentprescriptions since September of 2013.

Police say the description of the suspect is too vague torelease. They do have an idea of who it might be, but aren't releasing his nameyet because it's an open investigation.

"Basically at this point, the office that'sinvestigating will continue to be in contact with the pharmacy, the doctorinvolved, we'll attempt to obtain any kind of video or documentation that wecan, and go from there," said Bowling Green Police Lt. Bradley Biller.

Kroger says they are aware of the situation, and areworking with police to get them the video they need.
