Free medical services offered to east Arkansas residents

NEWPORT, AR (KAIT) – Members of the Delta Regional Authority and representatives of Senators John Boozman and Mark Pryor will tour free military health clinics in east Arkansas on Monday, according to a release.

Chris Masingill, Federal Co-Chairman of the DRA, will also tour Harris Clinic-East. The clinic is expected to serve more than 8,000 residents with medical, dental and optical care. The free health care clinic started Friday, July 25th and runs until Saturday, August 2nd.

The DRA and representatives expect to arrive at the facility at 9:30 Monday morning.

The Innovative Readiness Training health clinic uses medical personnel from the U.S. military to provide free care to east Arkansas residents.
