Miss Hospitality Preliminaries

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

We are in downtown Hattiesburg at the Saenger for this years Miss Hospitality Pageant. Tonight marks the 65th anniversary for the pageant and the thirty five participants from across the state are excited to represent not only their counties but the pageant's history and tradition. Let's head back to stage to see what's going on.

"In my community I've actually volunteered and supported churches during their scholarship banquets for their youth,"said Alyshia McAllister, The City of Brandon contestant

Susan Slaughter/ President of Board of Directors: "They are articulate young women, who are also very smart and have a lot of goals and have their whole life ahead of them to do something amazing things with their education and their future plans," said Susan Slaughter, President of Board of Directors

With preliminaries well underway the participants are looking forward to tomorrow with a big production followed by the top ten and finally miss hospitality 2014-2015 will be crowned.
