MEMPHIS, TN - The home of professional wrestler Jerry (The King) Lawler was an apparent burglary target for two Memphis policemen.

The two are charged in a wide-ranging corruption case, along with two other people.

A wiretap captured talk about the burglary, including details about Lawler's floor plan for the house and information that the owner wasn't home on Mondays.

The would-be burglars apparently felt Lawler stashed $200,000 in his jukebox, but the wrestler said this wasn't true.

The corruption case, in addition to plotting a burglary, involves bribes from nightclubs, protection of drug dealers and the transportation of prostitutes to casinos in Tunica, Mississippi.
