An East Texas attorney has been arrested and charged with murder.

Royal Lynn Mullins, 61, of Greenville, was booked in the Hunt County Jail Wednesday on a charge of murder.

The Hunt County Sheriff’s Office said Mullins is booked on a charge from the Greenville Police Department.

Greenville police said their officers were called to a location in the 3800 block of Spencer Street around 1a.m. Wednesday. When they arrived, they found Curtis Wayne Gray, 48, dead at the scene, from a gunshot wound.
